Do small businesses need a chartered accountant?

Many UK SMEs choose to work with chartered accountants to ensure statutory accounts, corporation tax and VAT returns are prepared correctly, but there is no requirement to use an accountant at all.

Do you support cloud accounting systems?

Of course. We promote the use of Xero, Dext, ApprovalMax and Fathom, along with Telleroo and Modulr for payments and Pleo for a petty cash replacement. Many of our clients use Xero for bookkeeping and financial management, allowing us to provide real-time reporting and advice.

Do you work with businesses outside Edinburgh and Glasgow?

Yes. While we have offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, we support businesses across Scotland and the rest of the UK using cloud accounting tools.
